Books+ has two new features
1. Session timeout when signed in
If you have signed-in to Books+ (to save items, save searches or make interlending requests) and then do not perform any activity for 25 minutes, you will now receive an alert to let you know that your session will time out.
A Session Timeout box displays the message “Due to inactivity, you will be signed out in:
5:00″.
Users may choose to:
• Continue Working: The Session Timeout box disappears; the user remains signed in and their session timeout countdown restarts.
• Sign Out: The user is signed out and redirected to the landing page
• Close the alert box: The Session Timeout box disappears; the user remains signed in and their session timeout countdown restarts.
2. Quick access to report broken links
From within the search results, there is now the option to let us know if a link is not working properly. We can then investigate and get it sorted for you.
